Hwang Jung-min and Yum Jung-ah Reunite for Netflix's 'Mission: Cross 2' Sequel (2025)

Get ready for a thrilling sequel, because Netflix is bringing back the dynamic duo of Hwang Jung-min and Yum Jung-ah for 'Mission: Cross 2', an action-packed adventure that's sure to keep you on the edge of your seat!

But here's where it gets controversial... Writer-director Lee Myung-hoon is back at the helm, and this time, the focus is on a daring mission to recover a stolen national treasure. The original 'Mission: Cross' was a massive hit, topping Netflix's Global Top 10 Movies (Non-English) chart in just three days and maintaining its position across 43 countries for weeks.

Hwang Jung-min reprises his role as the charismatic and skilled Kang-mu, a former special ops agent who is once again called into action. This time, he's tasked with a mission that hits close to home - recovering a precious national treasure. Joining him is Yum Jung-ah as Mi-seon, a former shooting medalist turned detective who finds herself in a unique situation. After being demoted to a provincial station, she reunites with her husband for this new, high-stakes mission.

The cast is rounded out by an exciting ensemble, including Yoon Kyung-ho as the enigmatic Cheon In-hak, leading a shadowy organization with an eye on cultural treasures. Im Seong-jae steps into the role of Duchil, a black-market dealer with a mysterious past. Cha In-pyo portrays the President, and Kim Kuk-hee takes on the role of the Chief of Staff, adding political intrigue to the mix.

And this is the part most people miss... Netflix has more in store! They've announced a December 5 premiere for the mystery thriller series 'The Price of Confession', starring the talented Jeon Do-yeon. This psychological thriller follows the story of Yun-su, accused of murdering her husband, and Mo Eun, a mysterious woman with a dark reputation. Jeon Do-yeon's portrayal of Yun-su is sure to leave audiences questioning her true intentions, as her unusual behavior during police questioning raises eyebrows. Kim Go-eun's Mo Eun, feared as a witch and psychopath, adds an intriguing layer to the story, offering to confess to the murder in exchange for an unknown favor.

Park Hae-soo and Jin Sun-kyu join the cast as prosecutor Baek Dong-hun and Yun-su's lawyer Jang Jeong-gu, respectively, bringing their own unique skills to the table.

Meanwhile, Netflix Japan has revealed its December lineup, including the dance film '10Dance' and the unscripted dating series 'Badly in Love'. '10Dance' adapts Inouesatoh's manga, bringing to life the story of two competitive dancers named Shinya. Ryoma Takeuchi and Keita Machida star as Shinya Suzuki and Shinya Sugiki, respectively, as they navigate a romantic dance-off, challenging each other to enter the 10-Dance competition.

'Badly in Love' takes a different approach, gathering former delinquents for a 14-day dating experiment. Produced by Megumi, a self-proclaimed former delinquent, the series aims to challenge contemporary dating norms.
