Is the drama about to reignite on the streets of New York? After a season of intense feuds and uncertain futures, fans of The Real Housewives of New York (RHONY) are clamoring for any hint of what's to come in Season 16. The end of Season 15 left viewers wondering: would the cast ever film together again? Would there be a complete overhaul?
With Brynn Whitfield's recent announcement that she's stepping away, the future of the show seemed even more unclear. But hold onto your martinis, because it seems like some familiar faces might be returning!
Recently, Erin Lichy dropped a major hint that she's not only open to returning, but that some of her former castmates might be joining her.
On November 4th, Erin attended Glamour’s 2025 Women of the Year Awards in New York City. On the red carpet, the question on everyone's mind was: What about RHONY? When asked if she was hoping to return, Erin's response was telling. "Yeah, definitely," she said with a smile. "I think we need to see this through. We need to pizzazz it up a little bit. We’re not done.”
And this is where the plot thickens... When the reporter expressed a desire to see both Erin and Sai De Silva back on the show, Erin spilled some serious tea. “I think it’s going to be more than just me and Sai. I’ll just say that,” she confessed.
When pressed about Jessel Taank's potential return, Erin offered a cryptic, "Maybe, maybe."
Further fueling speculation, Erin posted an Instagram video of herself with Sai, Jessel, and Jenna Lyons, dancing to Janet Jackson's "Together Again." It certainly seemed like a clear message that the friend group was still going strong.
In a previous appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Erin confirmed that she remains friends with "many" of the RHONY women, although her relationship with Brynn seems to be permanently fractured after the events of Season 15.
But here's where it gets controversial... Could the return of these key players mean a resurgence of the drama that made RHONY so iconic? Or will the dynamics have shifted, creating a whole new set of conflicts and alliances?
What do you think? Which cast members would you love to see return? Who do you think should join the cast to shake things up? Let's discuss in the comments!
